SALT Advocacy Training

Plan to attend SALT’s 2016 Advocacy Training Conference on Saturday, October 15, 9 -11:30 AM at the Virginia International University, 4401 Village Drive, in Fairfax. This year’s annual event will feature Mark Shriver as the keynote speaker, and the topic is “Justice for All: Working to Set Things Right in Virginia So All May Flourish.”


In addition to Mr. Shriver, Delegate Alfonso Lopez will lead a discussion on effective advocacy at the state level, and Michelle Krocker will give a brief presentation on addressing the Commonwealth’s unmet housing needs for low income families.

This is a free event and all are invited to attend.

Social Action Linking Together (SALT) is a Virginia faith-based network of social justice advocates working to bring social and economic justice concerns to bear on public policy and legislation, especially at the local and state levels.
